Bodies of five people were found at the main entrance to the community of Villa Nicolas, belonging to the municipality of Ajuchitlán del Progreso in Guerrero, Mexico. The bodies were decapitated and dismembered and were stuffed inside several black garbage bags. The killers also left a narcomensaje with the remains.
The deceased were later identified by their relatives as 24 year old Ranferi Chamu Sixtos, 19 year old Eduardo Aguirre Pió Quinto, 60 year old Eulalio Aguirre Navarrete, 30 year old Octavio Salas Patiño, and 19 year old Saltiel Patiño.
Family of the victims told the authorities that the five were kidnapped by armed men a few days ago so they half expected the grisly news.
