A brutal accident between a Ford Fiesta and a box truck occurred on the CE 187 highway in the state of Ceará, Brazil on the 5th of June, 2014. The accident brutally killed three of the five occupants of the car identified as; Francisco Soares Silva, Diana Ximenes Melo e Maria Lenice Marques Melo, the other two passengers survived and were taken to the hospital and have not yet been identified. Despite the truck rolling over, both the driver and passenger of the truck escaped with only minor injuries and remained at the scene. According to the men in the truck, the Fiesta crossed into their path due to as of yet undetermined reasons. So far, no charges are being filed against the truck driver.
